In July 2002, Attorney Urbanski began a quest to climb the highest point of each of the 50 states.

The chart below details his progress to date - 48 of 50.

MOST RECENT SUMMITS:

Lower 48 Status (as of 7/27/07) - COMPLETE!

Five years to the day that Attorney Urbanski stood atop his very first state highpoint, Mount Marcy in New York, he summited Eagle Mountain, Minnesota.  He now joins a group of just 300 others on the planet who have accomplished the goal of summiting ALL of the lower 48 highpoints.

GANNETT - GOT IT - GOOD!!!!

Third time was the charm.  On July 10th, 2007 at 1:00 PM local time, Attorney Urbanski successfully reached the highest point in the state of Wyoming -- 22 miles and 3 days from the trailhead at Elkhart Park.  It was his 45th state highpoint.  Five days later, Attorney Urbanski climbed Boundary Peak in Nevada, and two days after that, he summitted King's Peak in Utah, bringing his state highpoint total to 47.

NEXT UP:

Well... there are only 2 left.  First chance at Denali (Alaska) will be June of 2008.  Hawaii will be last.
